In this abstract art class using acrylic paints with other mixed media, you will learn the fundamentals of color theory, composition, and form to paint your unique abstract art painting.  Explore techniques such as layering and blending with a variety of mediums to create non-representational artworks that focus on emotion and perception rather than specific subjects. Using color saturation and hue you'll learn to capture mood in your paintings.  The class encourages experimentation, allowing you to discover your own unique styles while understanding the principles of abstraction.
